

Born on May 4, 1931, in the Bronx, New York, she was the beloved daughter of the late Nicholas and Rosalie Traficenti, and step-daughter of the late Phyllis Mayo Traficenti.
Gloria’s life was a testament to love, service, and family. She was married to the love of her life, Michael Martucci, for 61 cherished years until his passing. Together, they built a life rooted in devotion, tradition, and care.
A proud homemaker, Gloria was also a dedicated school bus aide for 15 years, where she lovingly helped care for children each day, bringing warmth and patience to her work.Gloria was a wonderful cook, known especially for her famous Sunday dinners. Her kitchen was a place where family gathered regularly to share meals, stories, and laughter. Her love of cooking was one of the many ways she expressed her deep love for her family.She was also an avid New York Yankees fan, never missing a game and proudly cheering on her favorite team through every season.
She is lovingly remembered by her four sons: Michael (Debby) of Palm Coast, FL; Nicholas (Sara) of Washingtonville, NY; Christopher (Marie) of Stony Point, NY; and Richard (Holly) of Monroe, NY. Her legacy continues through her ten grandchildren—Michael, Kaylyn, Nicholas, Richard, Isabelle, Colette, Emily, Diana, Julianna, and Nolan—and her three great-grandchildren, Jaysen, Jaylyn, and Maya, all of whom brought her immense joy and pride. She was predeceased by her beloved granddaughter Melissa Martucci.
Gloria was also a cherished sister to her brother Nicky (Jennie) Traficenti and leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Gloria’s warmth and generous spirit touched all who knew her. She will be remembered for her fierce devotion to her family, her unshakable faith, her delicious meals, and her ability to make everyone feel welcomed and loved. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
