Marcella R. Caruso

She is survived by her 3 sons (Matthew Caruso,Thomas and Amy Caruso, David Caruso) and her daughter (Jennifer and Joseph Alonso). She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren: Joseph (Lori), Jonathan (Bianca), Danielle, Diane, Alexis, Alexandra, Xavier, Sierra, Giavanna and her 4 great grandchildren Nico, Sophia, Jack and Ben. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas J Caruso in 1994. She was an avid beach goer and was happiest spending time with her children, grands and great grands as she called them.

Marcella was born on the lower east side of Manhattan, NY to Ursula and Alexander Grafeld on May 20, 1939. In August of 1961, she married the love of her life Tom. She left her job at New York Life in Computer Data Entry to stay home and lovingly raise her 4 children.

Family will be accepting visitors on Monday June 19 from 5-9 pm at Higgins Funeral Home in Stony Point, NY. Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Stony Point on Tuesday June 20 at 10am, followed by burial at St. Peter's Cemetery in Haverstraw, NY.
