Margaret W Nolte

Margaret (Edwards) Nolte, of Haverstraw (formerly of Stony Point and Pomona) passed away on December 26, 2011. She was born on March 29, 1926 in Tuxedo, New York to Fred and Emma (Jones) Edwards. Margaret served as a ward clerk at Letchworth Village Development Center for 20+ years.

She was predeceased by her husband, Harry Nolte. Beloved mother to Fran Perkins, Carol Stoll and her husband George of Stony Point and Harry Nolte, Jr. and his wife, Paula of Middletown, NY. She was a loving grandmother of Lisa Babcock, John Perkins, and George, Dennis and Carolee Stoll. She cherished the times spent as great grandmother to Alannah and Morgan Perkins, Christopher, Shannon and Brandon Stoll, Matthew, Mackenzie, Austin Stoll and Hunter Leone-Stoll. She was a dear sister to ten brothers and sisters, Jane, Mary, Betty, Lester, Fred, Charlie, Eleanor, Millie, Eddie and Evelyn. Also survived by dearest friend, Susan Ferguson.

There will be a one day visitation on Wednesday, December 28 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home, Stony Point. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 29 at the funeral home. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery in Haverstraw. Any donations made in her memory should be made to the charity of your choice .
