

Raymond P. Weihe of Stony Point, NY, 82 years old, passed away on September 22, 2025. He is survived by his spouse (Phyllis Marie Weihe), his daughter (Denise), son and daughter-in-law (Wayne and Katie) and his sister (Joan), brothers and sisters-in-law (Gerard and Nancy; Edward and Ida) and sister-in-law(MaryJo Giunta) and his three grandchildren (Nichole, Tyler, and Logan) and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased in death by his sister and brother-in-law (Claire and Robert Havercamp) and parents (Otto and Catherine lynch Weihe).
Born in Manhattan, NY to Otto and Catherine on January 22, 1943 he grew up in Bronx, NY and was married forty-four years to Phyllis (Giunta) Weihe. Raymond served in the United States Air Force Military Police stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska. After his discharge he pursued a degree at Pace University, graduated with honors, and had a successful career as a C.P.A.
In his spare time Raymond was very devoted to serving with The Church of the Immaculate Conception,Stony Point, NY. It is here that he taught second grade religious education for over 20 years and was an active participant in the choir. His devotion led him to receiving his Master of Arts in Religious Studies from Saint Joseph’s Seminary and College in 2015.
Raymond’s other passions were for music and sports. He played and sang in several bands when he was younger and was always an enthusiastic sports fan. His favorites were the Mets and Giants.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 2nd at 10 AM at The Church of the Immaculate Conception, 26 John Street, Stony Point, NY, followed by a burial in Fred Loescher Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
