Regina A Brophy

Regina A. Brophy passed away peacefully on April 10, 2015, with dignity and her loving family by her side. She was born in Haverstraw, NY on October 22, 1922 to Anna Brophy (Feeney) and Michael Brophy. Regina worked in the billing Department for the County of Rockland for more than 39 years. She was predeceased by her sisters Marie Cable and Helen Brophy, her brothers John and Richard Brophy, and her nieces Mary Wilson and Candy Brophy. She is survived by her nieces Dolores Shafarsy and Dawn Mancuso of Stony Point, NY, Sally O'Dell of Central Valley, NY and her nephew, Michael Brophy of Florida, and numerous great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in her name to Immaculate Conception Church 26 John Street Stony Point, NY 10980 and the Joseph Raso Hospice House, 415 Buena Vista Road New City, NY 10956.The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Joe Raso house for the wonderful care they gave to Regina. Services will be held at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home Monday April 13, 2015 2-4 7-9. A Mass of a Christian burial, Tuesday 10am Immaculate Conception Church, Stony Point, NY. Followed by Interment St. Peters Cemetery, Haverstraw, NY.
