Samuel "Scotty" Richmond, 72, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2013 with his loving family by his side. He was born on January 12, 1941 in the Bronx, NY. Sam proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He worked hard all his life for Con Ed and the Housing Authority. After retirement, he enjoyed working for the Rotella Golf Course and as Clerk of the Works for the Stony Point Ambulance Corps. Sam is survived by his beloved wife, Marianne; his loving children, Stacey (John) Orfini and Chris (Lindsay) Richmond; and adored by his grandchildren, Vincent and Giavonna Orfini. He will live on as the cherished patriarch of the entire family and will be in our hearts forever. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 7-9pm and Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home in Stony Point, NY. Services will be held on Saturday, 10am, at the funeral home followed by interment at St. Peter's Cemetery, Haverstraw, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Stony Point Ambulance Corps.
