Sandra Jean Phelps Brophy was the daughter of the late Allen and Elizabeth Phelps. She was married to the late Martin Joseph Brophy, Jr. She was born on February 1,1947. She quietly left us on August 2,2026.
She was born Hackensack,NJ. She was educated in the Pearl River, NY school district. She graduated with a degree in education from Ripon College in Wisconsin and Teaching degree from New Paltz College. She completed her masters degree in library science. She was involved in many different activities like bowling, red hats women's club and the seniors program. She was an extremely avid reader and was a lover of the Harry Potter series.
She is survived by her sons, Andrew Spencer Brophy and Timothy Joseph Brophy and spouse Alicia, her brother Robert Phelps and family, her cousins Nancy Sherwood and Karen Flavin and family. She also leaves behind many friends and loved ones.
