Vic was born in Suffern on November 2, 1957, to Victor E. and Adele (Murray) Perruna. After high
school, he worked with his father at the family business, Perruna’s Restaurant in Spring Valley, and later
owned and operated the House of Pizza in West Nyack and the Tudor House in Congers. He was the
head chef at the Fireside restaurant in Stony Point for the past 20 years. In his free time, Vic enjoyed
dinners with his son Vinny, family get-togethers, and golfing with friends.
Vic was predeceased by his parents Vic and Adele Perruna and his brother Dominic Perruna. He is
survived by his loving son Vincent Perruna, his sister Lynda Haubner, brothers Thomas Perruna (Doreen),
and John Perruna, as well as several nieces, and nephews. He will be deeply missed by Tom Javenes and
the staff and customers of the Fireside and his long-time friends Bob Pilla, Scott Greene, and Andy
Messinger.
A celebration of life will take place on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, from 1 pm-4 pm at the Fireside
Restaurant, Stony Point. A private mass will be held with his family at St Joseph’s.
