Allan Joseph Popek, age 80, of Stuart, Florida passed away peacefully at Broward Health Medical on January 1, 2025. Devoted husband of 55 years to Janice Popek (deceased). Devoted father to Daniel Popek and Tammy Pappa, cherished grandfather to Joan and Spencer Papp,
Born in Queens, New York, Allan was a Navy Veteran and worked for United Airlines for 40 plus years. Allan was the President of the local United Airlines Retirement Club. He was known for kindness, caring and sense of humor. Allan was passionate for traveling, acting, his religious faith and family.
He is survived by son, Daniel Popek and significant other, Selena Turk. Daughter, Tammy Papp and significant other, son-in-law, Richard Papp, sister, Deborah Estes and brother-in-law, Gerald Estes, niece, Jennifer Griffith and spouse, Chad Griffith and nephew, James Estes.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Fernhill Memorial Gardens & Mausoleum, 1501 S Kanner Hwy, Stuart, FL 34994.
