Armond was a good friend for over 50 years. Our families shared many good times together over the years.
I first met Armond at Hamilton Standard, where he made a name for himself as a class A machinist.
He went on to excel with NAPA and Dana Corp. where he became a liaison to NASCAR.
Armond was a people person, everyone knew and liked Armond. He introduced me and my wife to people in NASCAR like Dave Marcis, Davey and Donnie Allison, Micheal Waltrip and many others.
I will miss Armond and our talks about racing and everyday life. He was, and still is my friend. God bless his soul.
