Barak “Barry” Clair Wiser, Sr., 67, of Hobe Sound, FL passed away June 6, 2015 at Martin Medical Center in Stuart. Born on December 17, 1947 in Altoona, PA, he was the son of Clair Thurman and Alma Pearl (McCaulley) Wiser. He moved to Hobe Sound 15years ago, coming from Tampa, FL. Prior to that he had resided in Bellwood, PA for 38 years, where he had owned a construction company. Barry enjoyed golf, watching football and playing football with his family. He also liked to travel and go to family reunions. Survivors include his wife, Sharlene of Hobe Sound; daughters, Laurie Lee Wiser Elkes of Lutz, FL and Pamela Clair Wiser Bennetti of Land O’ Lakes, FL; sons, Stephen Barak Wiser of Gulfport, FL and Barak Clair Wiser, Jr. of Lutz, FL; step-son, William Leo Nangle, Jr. of Plant City, FL; step-daughter, Kelly Marie Nangle Westberry of Canton, GA; sister, Shirley Wiser Thomas of Stockbridge, GA and 10 grandchildren.
