It is with great sadness that the family shares the passing of Beverlee Jean Clawson, October 13, 2018, Jupiter, Florida. She was surrounded and loved by family. Bev, 74, was born on November 5, 1943, in Houston, Texas. Bev was preceded in death by her parents Maxine and Curtis Mayhan, and sister Barbara Ann Brugh.
Bev is survived by her husband of nearly 54 years, Ronald Clawson; children: Chad Clawson, Halle Barish Matz (David), and Stephen Clawson; beloved grandchildren: Hayden, Kylie, Kara, Holten, Hudson, Tobias and Elijah.
Bev was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend; she delighted in family time and was a woman of many interests: cooking, baking, softball, competitive equestrian, quilting, jewelry making, and an avid reader. She was CFO of Clawson-Hewett Food Brokerage and President of Parker Trail Riders in Colorado.
Bev grew up in Ohio, attended Upper Arlington schools, where she participated in musicals, cheerleading and numerous sports activities. Was President of youth group at First Community Church. She attended Ohio State and Ohio University.
Memorials in Bev Clawson’s name may be given to The Salvation Army.
Bev loved all animals, horses were her passion, as well as rescuing dozens of dogs who all adored her!
