Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Mr. Carlson was a postal carrier for the United States Postal Service.
He was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Port St. Lucie, FL.
Mr. Carlson is survived by his; son, Joseph Fly of Jensen Beach, FL; son, Steven E. Fly, of Memphis, TN; daughter, Margaret Fly of Jensen Beach, FL; six grandchildren; brother, Bruce Carlson of North Fort Meyers, FL and his sister, Carolanne Mussey of San Diego, CA.
He was predeceased by his wife, Eulah Aileene Carlson, and daughter, Cynthia Virginia Carlson.
Visitation will be held on December 20, 2011 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Aycock Funeral Home in Stuart with a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Interment will held at Fernhill Memorial Gardens, Stuart, FL.
