Words are hard to come by at this very sad time. Carol was always the go-to-person when it came to volunteering whether for the Circle Bay Auction, fashion show and other events that required a steady hand. She was always there for our community. I'm sure that everyone has mentioned Ken and Carol's dance prowess on the dance floor...…...they were just fantastic and a joy to watch. You left us far too soon Carol, you will always be in our hearts and remembrances. With love, Dennis and Mary Stewart.

I have wonderful memories of Carol, which I will always cherish. We had so many great times, including Country dancing every week in New York and Florida. She was an extraordinary person and will never be forgotten. I will miss her dearly. Marilyn Workman

My mom was one of those rare people who could light up a room when she walked in. She put a smile on everyone’s face, myself included. I always told Ellen that my mom was not just my mom, but one of my best friends and was throughout my whole life. Whenever I sat with her, she gave me good advice, she was always a great listener. She was the most generous person I’ve ever known. She always had the patience and energy for anyone who needed it. She would ask what we wanted for Christmas or our birthdays and we’d tell her that we didn’t need anything, yet, she always found the perfect gifts. She would remember some small scrap of conversation from months before and keep it in mind for the future.
She would give us wonderful gifts that she made herself like a blanket, quilt, or a handwritten cookbook of her favorite recipes. The fact that she would spend the love and countless hours to make these thoughtful and beautiful gifts speaks to the amazing person she was. We and generations after will treasure her loving artistry forever. As difficult as it is to deal with her passing, I have a smile thinking of her as I write this. Mom, your memory will always light up a room. Rest In Peace, we all love you.

My wonderful sister Carol was always there for me, a friendly ear to listen ,a big heart to give me advice and great homemade gifts which I can’t make. Her and Ken were always up for fun and unafraid to tackle any task with flair. Another piece of my heart is broken but my memories are many and filled with love.
