Christine Carol Mallek

Christine Carol Mallek passed away on October 4, 2021, after a 6-year battle with cancer. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, a retired business professional who had a career spanning over 40 years. She graduated Montclair State College in 1974 with a BA in Mathematics and Accounting. Most of her business career was spent with Deloitte. As a CPA, she held a variety of positions in audit, operations and administration.

Christine recently published a chapter in a book called “Courageous Steps of Faith” describing her journey battling cancer. Chris lived in Bloomfield, NJ, in her early life but settled in Basking Ridge, NJ, with her husband, Marty, in 1986. They moved to Florida in 2013 and later settled in Hobe Sound in 2017.

She is survived by her husband, daughter Diane and son-in-law Tom Wargnier, son, Gregory and daughter-in-law Gara, a grandson Owen and brother Edward Klim. She loved travelling, yoga, deep sea fishing, and the beach. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Treasure Coast Hospice Foundation 1201 SE Indian St. Stuart, FL 34997.

No public service is scheduled in Florida but a memorial celebrating her life will be held at a future date in NJ.
