Jeanne, One of my most enjoyable racing times was at Homestead about 2001 with Chris and you. He was one of the kindest and most gracious people I have ever met. The world will miss him. My condolences to you and your family.

In times of grief, I like to remember the good times. I'll never forget being in the middle of the Irving's while racing. Coming out of turn 10 at Moroso with one Irving in front of me, and another Irving right on my bumper. We ran nose to tail for several laps. What great times those were.

Great, easy going guy. Way too young to leave us. He will surely be missed by his family and friends.

In Chris's own words, "I am speechless, just SPEECHless, and that doesn't happen often!" I will always hear your warm laughter and words of wisdom. You will be missed on all levels of our friendship, at BMW CCA and SCCA events, watching you race your BMW (trying to beat Jeanne or keep up with Christopher, at the parties and mostly, just the four of us relaxing by the pool with drinks and dinner. And with you providing most of the laughter from a story of your wisdom. You have given us a lifetime of memories but you left us all - too soon. Jeanne, I can't express in words how I feel for you and the loss of Chris. Knowing he is no longer in pain or suffering should be comforting for you but I know that is not enough. But know that he was loved by many and missed by all.

We are so saddened to hear of Chris's passing. Thoughts go back to the many crazy days over our youth spent doing just about everything any of us could think of. BORROWING? the Irving family volvo for a fast night run up to VT. to visit the Bodell's. Austria. More recently having a great stop over spot to visit in Baltic in Manatee Pocket. Watching Chris and Jean race BMW's. Truly a great loss to all who knew Chris. We are truly saddened - you are all in our prayers.
