Born in Newark, NJ, she was a resident of Stuart for 25 years coming from Clinton, NJ.
She was a homemaker and had worked for the Prudential Life Insurance Company for 12 years in Newark, NJ and Binghamton, NY.
Claire was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Stuart and the Monterey Ladies Golf Club.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 69 years, Robert H. Nicholas; sons, Robert B. Nicholas and his wife Beth of Corryton, TN, Gilbert A. Nicholas and his wife Marissa of Doylestown, PA; three grandchildren, Desiree, Ariana and Christopher; and, one great grandchild, Cameron.
Services for will be held at a later date.
