Daniel Joseph Haas, 58, passed away in his home in Florida of cardiac arrest on May 27th, 2025. He was born on April 3rd, 1967, in South Bend, Indiana to Willis (Bill) Haas and Patricia (Arehart) Haas.
Dan moved to Hobe Sound, Florida in 2021. He most recently worked for Publix, but most of his work experience was in industrial sales and the Department of Revenue in Indiana before moving to Florida.
Dan graduated from Penn High School in 1985 and then attended Purdue University where he majored in English.
Dan loved golfing, fishing, cooking, and darts. He enjoyed many wonderful golf outings, fishing trips, and dart competitions with his friends. He enjoyed spending time with all of the wonderful dogs in his life, most recently Annie, a labradoodle.
Dan was a loving son who helped with the care of his father who had Alzheimer’s, and in more recent years he supported his mother during her health battles. His father preceded him in death in 1995. His mother of Hobe Sound, Florida, survives him.
No visitation or services are planned.
