Our prayers go out to Gerry and family for comfort and peace in this time of loss.  David will be greatly missed.

OUR FIRST MEMORY OF DAVE WAS THE GREETING OF " HI
NEIGHBOR" AS WE STOOD IN OUR DRIVEWAY OF OUR NEW 
HOME WHILE GERRI AND DAVE DROVE BY IN THEIR GOLF CART WELCOMING US INTO THE NEIGHBORHOOD  IN 2012.
IN THE NEXT 8 YEARS THERE WOULD BE MANY MORE SPECIAL 
MEMORIES ESPECIALLY THE MEETING OF BEAUTIFUL MARGARET ROSE.  THE BEST OF THOSE WERE ALWAYS AT THEIR HOME...THE HOME THEY LOVED AND SHARED WITH SASSY, PRINCESS, LILLY AND CUTIE-PIE THEIR FUR BABIES.  WE ARE SORRY THAT WE ARE IN CONNECTICUT AT THIS TIME AND CANNOT BE IN FLORIDA.  THEY SAY WHEN A CARDINAL VISITS YOUR YARD...IT'S A VISITOR FROM HEAVEN.  WE HAD THAT VISITOR TODAY IN OUR BACKYARD HERE IN CONNECTICUT.  " MAY YOU ETERNALLY REST IN OUR LORD'S EVER-LOVING MERCIFUL AND PEACEFUL EMBRACE DEAREST DAVE".

David will be greatly missed in our community. From his kindness, friendliness, and true warmth to all that knew him. He always had time for everyone and was especially kind to our grandchildren.


AS A FRIEND; NEIGHBOR; AND FELLOW AMERICAN WHO SERVED HIS COUNTRY AND TOOK CARE OF HIS FAMILY; HE IS MISSED EMEASURABLY.    HE  NEVER COMPLAINED AND LORD KNOWS HE HAD MORE THAN HIS SHARE OF HEALTH SETBACKS WHICH HE TOOK IN STRIDE AND NEVER GAVE UP.   HIS DEVOTION  TO FAMILY WAS UNENDING AND ALWAYS WAS CARING FOR HIS FELLOW MAN.    HIS COMPASSION AND GENEROSITY  WAS EVIDENT ANYTIME YOU WERE WITH HIM.   I PERSONALLY ENJOYED OUR CHATS ON THE POLITICS OF THE DAY.   HE HAS LEFT A HOLE IN MY LIFE THAT WILL NOT BE FILLED.   A MAN THAT YOU WERE VERY FORTUNATE TO KNOW.     

My condolences to  Gerry and the rest of the family on this sudden loss of Dave.  Despite the challenges he faced over the past 5 years, he remained positive and engaged, continuing to contribute to our community.   He always had a smile and a joke to share and never failed to ask “how are you doing ?”   So long my friend.  You are missed.
