

Dawn Charlene (Hainrihar) Pope 80 of Palm City, Florida went to be with her eternal savior on Dec. 6, 2014 after a sudden illness. Dawn was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 22, 1934 to Eleanore (Gorgol) and Edward Hainrihar. She graduated from Farragot High School in 1952, and obtained a teaching degree from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Ill.
Dawn married Richard Pope, and together they had 3 children They lived in Illinois, Michigan, and Reedsburg, Wisconsin before moving to Florida in 1979.
Dawn was employed most recently at JC Penney's in Stuart, Florida before her retirement. She previously enjoyed teaching and volunteering with children whenever she could. She was a devout Christian and a member of the First Baptist Church of Stuart. There she was active in the choir, study groups and many mission trips. Dawn enjoyed witnessing to Christ throughout the world.
She is survived by her daughter, Denise (John) Schmitt, Reedsburg, WI, her son, Brian (Misty) Pope, Bradenton, Fl.; Daughter in law, Cindy Pope; seven grandchildren, Daniel Pope, Jennifer Pope, Matthew Pope, Alex Schmitt, Samuel Schmitt, Brady Pope and Riley Pope; three nephews, one niece; two great-nieces and three great- nephews. Dawn had many friends, most notably her special dancing partner of 17 years, Joe Beck.
Dawn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 28 years, Richard Pope; her son Bradley Pope; and her sister, Diane Doorn.
Memorial services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Stuart, 201 West Ocean Boulevard, Stuart, FL., on Saturday Dec. 20th, 2014. Visitation at 10:30am; service at 11:00am.
