My favorite memory of Don was him telling my wife Liza and I about a karaoke night at the VFW. He said, Ronnie there wasn’t a dry seat in the house after him singing My Way. Of course I knew what he meant but he was so funny and will be dearly missed. Rest In Peace my friend and see ya on the other side...

Don was a hoot. Not only could he sing a song with passion and charisma, he could make you laugh. He had tons of jokes and even more funny stories to tell. Don was an inspiration to us all and one heck of a fighter. He will forever be missed. RIP my friend until we will see you again. #OneLove

Don touched many of our hearts. From the first time roughly 2 years ago when he walked into my life and sang karaoke with us at The Crafted Keg, he became an instant hit. We typically have a young crowd of 20’s and 30 year olds, and even at 83, he fit in perfectly. He absolutely loved the crowd there because of the younger demographic and the way they all treated him. I am so honored to have met such a wonderful man. He will be sorely missed and is someone I will never forget. Thank you for the memories Don. And I’m so glad that he lived his life “his way”. Til we meet again one day!!!!!

He lit up the Crafted keg when he walked in or we walked in and saw him already there. A true delight to listen to and talk with. Our loss is Heaven's . Maybe we will do a duet in heaven when I get there. Sing loud and proud. Well done Don!

We will all miss my loving brother..he was so SPECIAL..his talents were endless..great personality, unbelievable sense of humor, kind and loving, loved his family so dearly..he loved all types of sports where he excelled in Baseball, basketball , tennis and golf...as many know he was club champion at Mariner Sands and Manasquan River golf club in New Jersey..Don was known for his “sweet swing” that produced so many great shots
Don also loved to MC at both Manasquan and Mariner Sands..His delivery was humorous and informative..He loved to honor our Soldiers who protect our country so well
In later years he loved to sing karaoke..he could be seen many nites ate Harry and the Natives as well as being with his great friends at the VFW..ON behalf of the family, I would like thank all his karaoke friends for befriending my loving brother..you gave him real purpose to live in his latter days
You will always be in my heart BRO
LOVE YOU
DOUG
