Edith Kendall

Edith N. Kendal of Stuart and Hobe Sound, Florida, passed away peacefully, shortly after celebrating her 100th birthday. Edie was born in Chalfont, Pennsylvania on March 12, 1922 and resided in that area most of her life. She was employed as a bookkeeper for many years. She and her husband, Harry, moved to Hobe Sound where they enjoyed the climate and southern hospitality. She was a dedicated caregiver to Harry for many years until his passing. She enjoyed boating, baking and knitting and was a regular member of the local Methodist and Presbyterian churches. Edie is predeceased by her husband and her two daughters Betty Lou and Sherry and is survived by her two caring sons-in-law. Jim Mason and Rob Tomlin, as well a grandson, a great granddaughter, and a close friend, Bobbi Kauffman. A Celebration of Life we will held at the Memorial Garden of Peace Presbyterian Church in Stuart Florida at a later date.
