Elaine Gordon

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of Dr. Chester Arthur Allen Gordon and Josephine Beatrice Levy Gordon. She was resident of Port St. Lucie, Florida since 1988 coming from Los Angeles, California.

Elaine did her undergraduate studies at Howard University, then earned her nursing degree from Farley-Dickerson University, and earned her Doctorate of Psychology from Cal State Long Beach in 1987.

Prior to her retirement Elaine worked as a Registered Nurse treating veterans at the VA Medical Center in Los Angeles, and the taught at IRCC in the Nursing program.

She is survived by her sisters Josephine Jones of Los Angeles, CA, and Susie Gray of Goochland, VA, nephew Carroll Jones of Willingboro, NJ, nieces Jennifer Jones of Los Angeles, CA , Janice Gordon of Wheaton, MD, and Carolyn Gordon of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and many other relatives.
