

Emma K. Gibson, 86, of Stuart, passed away December 21, 2014 at Treasure Coast Hospice. Emma was born in New York, she moved to Austria with her parents as a child and returned to the United States in the late 1940’s, moving to Stuart, FL with her mother, Anna. Emma had been a licensed cosmetologist and worked on a cruise line. She later returned to school and received her certification as a nurse’s aide from Keiser University. During retirement, she and her late husband, Arnold Gibson, had enjoyed traveling. She was a beautiful, caring, loving person who would do anything for anybody. She was loved greatly and will be missed ever so much by all who knew her. “I was blessed to have her as my momma and have my pop pop as long as I did,” said her daughter, Sharon Hamilton. “My daughter and I will miss her tremendously, but we are at peace knowing she is home with her family and God.” In addition to her loving daughter, Emma is survived by her granddaughter, Dakota Hamilton and her beloved cats, Lola and Mitzi.
