Eric Larson

Born in New York, New York, Mr. Larson had previously lived in Ohio before relocating to the Treasure Coast in 1992.

He was a Sergeant for the City of Akron Corrections Division for twenty-five years in Akron Ohio, and had worked for Goodyear Aerospace for ten years in Akron as well.

Mr. Larson was of Baptist faith, and was a member of the American Legion FL#318. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge in Port St. Lucie, and loved to gamble. Mr. Larson loved football, especially the Cleveland Browns.

He is survived by his daughter, Darlene Yeater (Bruce) of Port St. Lucie, FL; son, Jarrett Burnside (Pamela) of Port St. Lucie, FL; son Charles Burnside (Corinne) of Port St. Lucie, FL; five grandchildren, Rick, Johnny, Jarrett, Paul and Kimberly; five great grandchildren; brother, Bert Larson of Columbus, NC; sister in law, Jeanette Larson, of Columbus, NC; and sister, Barbara Harr of Akron, OH.

Mr. Larson is predeceased by his wife, Tinia and his daughter, Kathleen Blevins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 Pm at Aycock Funeral Home in Stuart, Florida; with a funeral service to begin at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart, Florida.
