Franklin Guy English

On February 15, 1952, Franklin married the love of his life, Shirley Ann Reed, beginning a marriage that spanned more than seven decades. Together they built a loving family and shared a lifetime of cherished memories.

Franklin was a faithful member of the United Methodist Church, where he worshipped and served for over 50 years. His unwavering faith, kind heart, and gentle spirit touched the lives of many.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley Ann English; his sister, Jeannette English; his brother, James English; his children, Pamela English, Susan (David) Corbridge, Kathy Lewandowski, and Franklin G. English II; as well as seven grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren, all of whom will cherish his memory and the legacy of love he leaves behind.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Aycock Funeral Home Young & Prill Chapel, 6801 SE Federal Highway, Stuart, Florida 34997.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Fernhill Memorial Gardens & Mausoleum, 1501 S. Kanner Highway, Stuart, Florida 34994.

Franklin’s legacy of faith, love, and dedication to his family will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
