Jim was a resident of Palm City, FL and a native Floridian.
Jim worked in roofing most of his life and was an avid Nascar and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Jim’s favorite scripture was Phil. 4:13; He lived that scripture throughout his entire battle with cancer.
Jim is survived by his daughter Amanda. She was the light of his life and his whole world. Other survivors include his mother, Dorothy Louise Rector of Stuart; one brother, John McCormic of Palm City; sister-in-law, Kate McCormic, one sister Jaime Fiore of Jensen Beach; four nieces, Elizabeth; Victoria; Shya and Maylina. Memorial donations can be made to Treasure Coast Hospice.
