Joan T. Stone, 88 passed away Friday, April 15, 2016 in Hobe Sound, Florida. Born in New York, New York in 1927 to Walter and Veronica Stone, Joan lived in Hobe Sound, Florida for the past 15 years coming from Connecticut. She retired as a Physical Education Teacher after 40 years and was an extremely self-confident and active outdoor woman and award winning amateur golfer. Joan was a three time champion of the Heritage Ridge Community in Hobe Sound where she resided. She is survived by her brothers, Noel Stone of New Mexico and William Stone of Alabama.
