Joe Ball arrived in his eternal home with the Lord on August 15th, 2022. He was born May 13, 1931, in Kenova West Virginia, until 1985 when he moved to Hobe Sound Florida and stayed the remainder of his life. Joe was a Christian man who devoted his life to the Lord and was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Dot Ball, three brothers, Darrell, Tom, and Bill, one sister, Jane, his eldest daughter, Rebekah, and his grandson Kenneth Bajis. Before he passed, he expressed his joy of their reunion in heaven.
He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Lillian, whom he greatly adored, sister Sheila (Kenny) Kitchen, sister Ada (A.W.) Smith, daughter Claudia (Butch) Berlin, daughter Cindy (Mike) Bajis, granddaughter Shellie (Brian) Harmon, granddaughter Natalie (Mark) Davis, grandson Vincent (Haylie) Bajis, grandson Matthew (Karri) Berlin, granddaughter Julie (Brad) Nelson, granddaughter Courtney (Albert) Moyett, ten great-grandchildren, Bailey, Madeline, Lily, Brooke, Logan, Vincent, Myla, Zander, Garrett, Jasmine (James), Justin, Julia, three great-great grandchildren, Dakota, Walker and Lincoln, two step great-great grandchildren, Melody and Oliver, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He also had wonderful neighbors that he loved like family.
Joe drove for Union Carbide and loved traveling the U.S. Upon retirement, he and Lillian moved to Florida, where he lived out the rest of his amazing life. Joe discovered his talent for woodworking, making custom furniture for his family and loved ones that will be an enduring legacy for many years. Joe lived for the Lord and was a shining example of a stalwart Christian. He was the patriarch of the family, loving everyone deeply and unconditionally; he entertained the family, telling great stories and jokes to all the children, young and old. He will be forever missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6 p.m. Friday August 19th at Jupiter Tequesta Church of Christ with Franz Metz presiding.
Joe expressed his desires for an additional celebration of life held in West Virginia in the fall of 2022.
