

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kurt A. Branick on November 23rd 2024 in Stuart, Florida. Kurt was born January 2, 1961 in Baltimore, Maryland, a son of the late Louis Stanley and Carole Jane Branick.
Kurt is a 1979 graduate of South Carroll High School in Sykesville, Maryland where he also played football. He then went on to play football at Salisbury State College in Salisbury, Maryland and received his Bachelor’s degree in business.
Kurt was known for his wit and humorous personality and loved to make people laugh. He was young at heart and enjoyed telling stories of the “good ‘ole days.” Most people who knew him would describe him as a great person and friend. He was an avid Baltimore Ravens fan and rooted for them through both the good and the bad seasons. His regular attire usually consisted of something with the Ravens Logo on it.
In 2013 he moved to Palm City, Florida to be closer to his remaining family. There he enjoyed going to the beach, relaxing by the pool, having seafood boils and watching the Ravens on TV whenever they came on Prime Time football.
Kurt is predeceased by his parents; Louis and Carole, his brother; Jeffrey Branick, sister; Cheryl (Branick) Niemann, daughter; Amy Branick and all his grandparents. He is survived by his daughter Lauren Branick, sister Karen (Branick) Martinez, brother-in-law Joseph Martinez and several nieces and nephews.
Kurt was cremated and his remains will be spread at some of his favorite places. A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
