Lena Ferrante/Carlino

Lena Marie Ferrante/Carlino born in Brooklyn on June 8, 1925, died in her home on March 17th 2023 in Stuart Florida where she resided for 31 years. She was soon to be 98 years young. She lived her first 66 years in Brooklyn, New York. She is survived by her three children, Robert, Lorraine, Carol, 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and was two months shy of becoming a great great grandmother. An excellent baker making the best Christmas cookies ever. She worked for the board of education, Volunteered for the Ambulance Core, Volunteered for “Care”, she was an avid reader as well as card player keeping score, up until a week before her passing. She had an endearing sense of humor. We will forever hold her vibrant, kind hearted , jubilant spirit in our hearts for an eternity.
