Leona A. Karap

Born in Buffalo, New York, she moved to Stuart 12 years ago coming from Sanbornton, New Hampshire.

Before retiring, Leona was a Supervisor for Fisher Price Toys in East Aurora, New York.

She was of Catholic faith.

She survived by her daughters Sharon O’Connor and her husband Brian of Palm City, FL; Jane Gallagher of Stuart, FL; grandchildren Jennifer Waite, Andrew Young, Carolyn O’Connor, Matthew O’Connor, Patrick O’Connor, Eric Gallagher, Erin Gallagher; and great-grandchildren, Kalib Perkins, Haylee Coulter, Alexander Rice-Smith, Matthew O’Connor, Jr., Marita O’Connor, Brandon Gallagher and Kayla Gallagher

She is predeceased by her husband of 36 years John Karap, son, Jackie; sisters, Henrietta, Cecilia, Loreta and brother, Charlie.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 14, 2011 at 6:00 pm at the Aycock Funeral Home in Stuart, FL.
