Linda was born April 29, 1945 in Batesville, Indiana to the late Robert and Marcella (Selke) Henneke. Linda grew up in Osgood and Napolean, Indiana. She graduated from Jac-Cen-Del High School in 1963. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Napolean. Linda and her family moved to Florida in the late seventies.
Her greatest quality was being a great listener and encouraging people to “do the right thing!” She had friends of many ages and was a vibrant soul, who was always eager to help out, no matter what the problem was. She had many grandchildren and loved loving on them all. She never turned anyone away – be it family, friends or local faces that wanted to stop by the house for a quick chat. She also shared her love of food and cooking big feasts for family and friends. She was renowned for her desserts. She retired as an office manager in the medical field. The career suited her servant and caring heart for many that she came into contact with. Linda also enjoyed playing the piano and organ at church and was an avid reader.
Linda sought to instill in her children and grandchildren a commitment to family and friends, and the power of a smile. She made sure that everyone around her knew they were loved and that she was proud of them. Last but not least, she loved her Lord and Savior and she loved Elvis too!
Loved ones welcoming her into heaven are her husband, Jerry Otis Lynch; parents, Robert and Marcella Henneke; and grandson, Austin Robert Lauber.
Linda is survived by her children, Mark Lauber of Dudley, GA and Lisa Gosa of Syracuse, NY; sister, Cathy (Steve) Randall of The Villages, FL; grandchildren, Joshua Lauber of Port St. Lucie, FL; Haleigh (Preston) Wood of Dublin, GA; Allyson Lauber of Dudley, GA, Jeremy Gosa of Port St Lucie, FL; Cody Gosa of Port St. Lucie, FL, Corey Gosa of Port St. Lucie, FL and Kayce Lauber of Dublin, GA; great-grandchildren, Emmaly Lauber of Port St Lucie, FL and Ryder Wood of Dublin, GA.
