He was born in Falmouth, Kentucky and had previously lived in Riverview, Michigan and Pompano Beach, FL before relocating to the Stuart area 24 years ago.
Lloyd worked for Southern Bell for 27 years.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served our country in World War II and the Korean War.
Lloyd was a member of First United Methodist Church in Stuart, as well as the Telephone Pioneers of America.
He is survived by his son, Frederick Turner of Ruskin, TX; brothers, Earl Turner of Redondo Beach, CA, ad William Turner of Mears, MI; sisters, Mary Lou Thompson of Port St. Lucie, FL and Carol Jean Ferguson of Westland, MI; grandchildren, Frederick Jr. of Bowling Green, KY and Nicole Turner of Tribo of Port St. Lucie, FL.
Visitation will be held on December 26, 2013 from 1:00-3:00 PM at Aycock Funeral Home in Stuart, FL with a funeral service to begin at 3:00 PM. Interment will be held at Ferndale Cemetery in Michigan.
