Born on May 1, 1938, in Tonawanda, NY, Lorraine lived a life marked by kindness, giving, and helping others. She devoted her life to the Lord as a Minister and Chaplain.
Lorraine traveled to France at a young age. She had to learn French on her own. She went to college and earned her bachelor's degree in France. Then became a missionary and traveled to Russia during the Cold War to minister and help hand out Bibles to the people.
Lorraine became a Chaplain at a hospice during her life and career in Augusta, Georgia, for 15 years, then returned to Florida and retired. After retiring, Lorraine volunteered at the Hospice House in Stuart, FL, as a Chaplain. She was an angel to anyone who needed her comfort and prayer. She will be missed by family, friends, and people she touched in their need for prayer. God bless you, Lorraine, for all the good you did in your life and how you made such a difference in so many lives that needed you.
Lorraine found great joy in being outdoors. She loved camping in state parks. Her pride and joy were her dogs. She enjoyed having her dogs in dog shows. She volunteered and helped at animal shelters. She was a well-known dog trainer. Her life was to help animals and people anyway she could. Just a giver and never a
taker.
She is survived by her sister Lois Quiggle, nephew David Quiggle, and nephew Paul Quiggle.
A Funeral and burial will be held on June 6, 2026, at 11 am at Fernhill Memorial Gardens & Mausoleum in Stuart, FL.
Though deeply missed, Lorraine's love, wisdom, and memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
