Lou was a devoted husband, a loving father, a proud Pop-Pop, a beloved brother, a caring uncle, and a cherished nephew. He touched the lives of all who knew him, and his memory will be forever held in our hearts.
Born on August 30th, 1957, Lou lived with quiet strength, steady hands, and a heart full of love. A talented craftsman, he built two beautiful homes—one in New Jersey and one in Virginia—that became places of warmth and welcome for everyone who entered.
Lou loved classic cars, especially restoring his Mustang and Nova, and enjoyed watching races any chance he got. He also loved fishing, finding peace and joy in the stillness of the water. After retiring, he found even more comfort by the water in Florida. He and Joann would sit by the beach or at the park, watching boats, enjoying the breeze, and simply being together—those peaceful moments meant everything.
He didn’t need many words to make an impact. Lou’s care, pride, and love live on in all he touched.
For over 30 years, Lou was a dedicated member of the Philadelphia Painters Union. He took great pride in his craft, contributing to projects throughout the region. His strong work ethic and steady hand were matched only by his deep commitment to his family.
One of the most treasured relationships in his life was the one he shared with his father. The two were inseparable—often hanging around, working side by side, and sharing many laughs. Their bond was built on love, trust, and a shared passion for creating and fixing with their hands.
Lou was married to the love of his life, Joann Masino, and on July 12th, they would have celebrated 50 beautiful years of marriage—a testament to a life built on enduring love and partnership. Together, they created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering devotion.
He was a devoted and loving father to his two daughters, Jamie and Jessie. The bond they shared was unbreakable—a deep connection full of joy, strength, and endless love. Lou embraced Jamie’s wife, Dawn, and Jessie’s husband, Andy, as part of the family, offering them the same warmth, respect, and care he gave so freely to those he loved. He was deeply proud of the lives his daughters built and the families they created. His granddaughter Emily was the light of his life. Lou adored her, and the time they spent together was full of laughter, games, and the kind of love only a Pop-Pop can give. Their special connection was filled with moments Emily will treasure forever. As a brother, Lou was known for his playful spirit and big heart. He loved to tease his younger siblings, always bringing laughter into their lives. Yet behind every joke was deep affection—he would do anything for his family, without hesitation.
Lou was preceded in death by his father; Louis T. Morgan, mother; Margaret Latrella, beloved sisters; Donna Morgan and Wanda Bramante (Morgan), who are forever in our hearts. He leaves behind his surviving siblings; brother Mark Morgan, and sisters; Cindy Morgan (Jim), Shannon Morgan-Leonen (Steve), and Kelly Morgan.
Lou is also preceded in death by his wife’s family, father-in-law; Joseph J. Masino Jr., mother-in-law; Jeanette Masino, brother; Joseph J. Masino III, and nephew; Joseph J. Masino IV. They are forever in our hearts.
He was also a proud and caring uncle to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, whose lives were touched by his love and humor.
Lou leaves behind a powerful legacy of love, craftsmanship, and family. He will be remembered not only for what he built with his hands, but for what he gave with his heart. His memory lives on in the lives he touched, the family he cherished, and the love that will never leave our hearts.
