

Marie graduated from Sharpsville High School in 1947 and worked at Woolworths in nearby Sharon, PA before moving to California to be closer to her aunt Laura (DeJulia) Rose and her cousins. She worked for the phone company AT&T, starting as a switchboard operator and working her way up to an engineering position, retiring in 1984. Marie loved to bake Christmas stained glass fudge for her family and friends and also a passion for crocheting. Marie rescued dogs for many years.
Marie is survived by Erwin Krueger who also worked for AT&T. After retirement, together they traveled the world. They were married for 50 years. Marie loved to play cards and eat out with her husband Erv. She is also survived by her brother Joseph DeJulia of Hobe Sound, FL, nieces Deborah (DeJulia) Alcala of Dallas TX, and Tricia (DeJulia) Reichenbach of Edmonton, Canada, and nephews John DeJulia of Central Valley, NY and Robert DeJulia of Hobe Sound, FL. in addition to 7 grand nieces and nephews.
Marie had a kind and gentle spirit and a great sense of humor and she loved her family and friends. A devout Catholic, Marie prayed daily and attended St. Christopher's church in Hobe Sound, FL.
