Marion H Carter

Born in New Britain, Connecticut, she resided in Palm City for 25 years coming from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Before retiring, she was an Office Manager for the John Hancock Insurance Company for 30 years in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Marion was a graduate of Teachers College in New Britain, Connecticut and the director of the Duplicate Bridge Club in Stuart Florida. She was of Protestant Faith.

She is survived by her sisters-in-law,Corinne Johnson and Louise Circo of Stuart; grandchildren, Ellyn Montgomery of Arden, North Carolina; Jennifer Waitman of Marion NC; Kenneth Shand of Johnson City, TN; and three great-great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband, LCDR Kenneth Carter and daughters Gail Plant and Janice Shand.

A celebration of her life will be held at Manero's restaurant in Palm City on Sat, Jan. 5 at 12:30 PM.
