Mary Ann was born in Miami, Florida to Annieois and Charley McDaniels on November 3, 1930. She married Louie Di Lorenzo on June 21, 1949 in Miami, Florida. Mary Ann and Louie met in 1947 on a double date with other people. They both immediately recognized their soulmate and were married within two years. They were blessed with 3 daughters, JoAnne, Nanette and Linda and continued to live in Miami until their retirement to Stuart, Florida.
Mary Ann worked in Accounts Payable for Baxter (now Baxter Healthcare Corporation) and handled Baxter's monthly physician payments that included those at the (then brand new) Baptist Hospital on Kendall Drive. After her retirement, she was an active member of her church in Stuart Florida and was a key planner for their annual Bible Marathon and ran their women's study group.
She greatly enjoyed her immediate, extended and church families, sewing, puzzles, crossword puzzles and pottery painting. She played golf but preferred when they had a "scramble" game as she wasn't very good at it. She loved watching football (high school, college, pro) which started with her and Louie's Friday night date attending the University of Miami games with two other couples. She watched the little league baseball tournament each year and could provide the stats for each team. She loved shopping for others but especially for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mary Ann is survived by husband and sweetheart of 71 years, Louie Di Lorenzo, her sister Sharon Mueller, her oldest daughter JoAnne and son-in-law Ken Jewett, her youngest daughter Nanette Banks, her other daughter Linda and husband Tom Cundy, ten (10) grandchildren, Jennifer (Joshua), Jonathan (Deanna), Melody, Maximillion, Priscilla, Kristen, Thomas and Matthew, eight (8) great-grandchildren, Zachary, Haven, Ethan, Emma, Peyton, James, Evelyn, Luke and a multiple of other family around the world.
