Marge was born at home in the Harding Park section of the Bronx on September 16, 1934. After graduating from Cathedral High School in Manhattan, she went on to work for Shell Oil Company.
Marge met John, the love of her life, “down at the shore” in Belmar, New Jersey in July 1957. Maintaining the special bonds they formed with friends that first summer together was a life-long priority and source of great joy. Marge and John were married on October 17, 1959 and enjoyed 64 years of a blessed marriage. Complete strangers would always remark at how absolutely adorable they were, holding hands after all these years.
Marge and John raised their three children in Blauvelt, NY, transforming a small Cape Cod house into an extraordinary home. After working many years in the South Orangetown School District, Marge landed her dream job at Pan American Airlines, utilizing her benefits to the fullest, traveling the world with John, and providing their three children with wonderful memories as well.
Marge and John moved to the golf community of Paupack Hills, PA before becoming full-time Floridians at the Lost Lake Golf Course in Hobe Sound. During these years, Marge not only learned to golf, but excelled at her new sport, winning tournaments and beating John for the elusive hole in one.
Marge was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her husband John, her sister Pat MacInnes, her children John, Jr.(Jo Ann) of Jupiter, Florida, Allison Jacoby (Eric) of Jupiter, Florida, and Patricia Wolff (Allen) of Tarrytown, New York, eight grandchildren, John, Scott, Hannah, Kelly, Emma, Kevin, Sara, and Patrick, and one great grandchild, Margaret.
