Patricia L Drewes

She graduated from Sacred Heart School, Mount Mercy High School, and Denison University.

For many years Patricia and her family resided in Fair Haven, Monmouth County, New Jersey, and she spent the last 22 years as a well respected and loving member of her community in Stuart, Florida.

Patricia earned her certification in teaching and as a librarian at Monmouth College in New Jersey. She was formerly married to Russell Drewes (deceased).

Patricia was a communicant at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Stuart, Florida, where she was a leader in the Crafts group and the Rosary Makers. Patricia was predeceased by her loving brother, Gregor Meyer of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

She is also much loved and will be greatly missed by two sisters; Marilynn Milmoe of Golden, Colorado and Paula Lowry of Prospect, Kentucky and her five children: Debi Drewes of Denver, Colorado; Greg Drewes & wife, Luciana of Boca Raton, Florida; Rick Drewes of Jensen Beach Florida; Tom Drewes & wife, Julie of St. Thomas, USVI; and Nancy Drewes Nobbs of Stuart, Florida. Patricia also enjoyed the love of six grandchildren: Lonna Drewes, Cole Drewes, Dylan Drewes, Mark Drewes, Alexander Nobbs, Amanda Nobbs and Ashleigh Nobbs; and four great-grandchildren, Zoe Ryan, Jade Young, Connor Drewes and Noah Drewes.

Friends and family may call on Wednesday, October 26, 2011, 1:00-3:00 pm. A funeral mass will follow the visitation at 4:00 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the CCW and Rosary Makers of St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1200 East 10th Street, Stuart, FL 34996.
