Patricia L. Rau passed away at age 66 on October 28, 2014 at Treasure Coast Hospice. She was born in Germany on September 2, 1948 to Stanley Lyons, Lt. Col., Ret. and Shirley. She grew up in East Hartford, Connecticut and was married on May 29, 1971 to David P. Rau of Rockville, Connecticut. They settled in Stuart, Florida in 1986 where she was a homemaker and caregiver. Pattie cherished her family and adored her two grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband; two children, Susan Beasley and her husband Jeff of New Smyrna Beach, FL, and David L. Rau and his wife Lindsay of Port St. Lucie, FL; and grandchildren David L. Rau, Jr., 5, and Samantha L. Rau, 2.
A memorial service will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Palm City Saturday November 8, 2014 at 11:00.
