his loving wife, Patricia, his sisters Claire and Lori (Janet) and his children Bernadette, Claude
(Hanna), Paul Jr. and Matthew, grandchildren Danielle (Kevin), Maddie and Annie and great
grandchildren Jack and Elle. He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Frances and
brothers Michael and Thomas.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, he served his country as a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force,
stationed in France during the Korean War.
Paul spent his life in service to his Church, having been an organist and choir director at St
Theresa’s in Queens, St Agnes Cathedral in Rockville Centre and St Patrick’s Church in
Huntington. Additionally, he was a talented vocalist and composer of sacred and secular
music.
He held positions as Glee Club Director of Molloy College, Sacred Heart Academy, Fairfield
University Men’s Glee Club and the Rockville Centre Choral Society. He was the Director of
Music of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick Glee Club in the City of New York. His performances
were widely attended, most especially his annual Christmas Concerts.
Paul was a proud 4th Degree Knight of Columbus in his home parish of St Christopher in Hobe
Sound, Florida.
An avid sailor, Paul enjoyed years of happy hours on his beloved boat, the Water Music. In
retirement, he enjoyed the neighborhood bocce team.
A true gentleman, Paul brought joy to many with his ready smile and kind heart. He will be
missed by family and friends far and wide.
