Richard Wass, 81, of Stuart Florida passed away peacefully on January 12th, 2024. Richard was a graduate of New Britain High School and proudly served in the Air Force. He later earned a degree in Physics at Central Connecticut State College. Richard was an extraordinarily successful entrepreneur and a longtime resident of Brentwood, Tennessee. He was regularly active in the community before retiring and becoming a full-time resident of Stuart in 2009.
Richard rarely sat still and enjoyed many hobbies. He was a pilot as well as an experienced sailor. He had a passion for organic gardening. He loved to solve problems and find a better way to improve the world around him. He was a devoted New England Patriots fan and could be found often at Duffy’s cheering them on with his wife and friends.
Richard is survived by his loving wife Pam Wass of over 60 years, children Wendy Carpenter, Gregory Wass, and Jeffrey Wass; grandchildren Michael Ivester, Joseph Ivester, Steven Wass, Adam Wass, Jake Wass, and Kate Wass; siblings Billy Wass, and Raymond Wass.
