Born in Philadelphia, PA, Bob attended Cardinal Dougherty High School where he starred as an offensive guard, and was the first all Catholic guard for Dougherty. He later graduated from Temple University, and was a life guard in Wildwood, New Jersey during the summers.
Bob was also a math teacher and moved to Martin County in 1981 where he owned a window and door company. He was a volunteer fire fighter, and a lifelong Eagles fan, getting a chance to watch them battle their way to a win in the Super Bowl this year. Bob had a very special love for his four legged pal, Molly and how can we forget his hatred for chicken!
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Esther and children, Roy (Sherrie), Susan, Alice, and Lisa (Robert); five grandchildren, Jessica (Eddie), Chandler, Ryan (Andrea), Tabatha (Ryan) and Rebecca, along with four great grandchildren, Aaliyah, Aiden, Elijah and Josiah and his sister Sue ( John) Ruf and brother Frank (Peggy) Steigerwalt.
Bob was predeceased by his grandson, Walter Daniel Wunder III.
