Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Bob grew up in Kentucky before moving to the Stuart area 48 years ago.
He owned and operated Bob’s Roling Harbor in Kentucky and worked for T.A. Taylor & Sons, as an equipment operator before moving to Florida and running dump trucks for McGregor & Sons then retiring 40 years ago. Bob had a deep love for boating, and some of his happiest moments were spent on the water. He also cherished traveling across the country in his motorhomes.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marrene of Stuart, FL; son, Robert Bradford, Jr. (Becky) of Maysville, Kentucky; son, Eric Sanders of Stuart, Florida; daughter, Julie (Scott) McAfee of Stuart, Florida; grandchildren, Andrew Bradford, Christina Sanders, Justin Mancil, Jackson McAfee and Fiona McAfee; along with his great grandchildren, Bryson McAfee, Stella Sanders and Chris McDole.
Bob was predeceased by his son, Timothy Sanders earlier this year.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 3rd at Manero’s Restaurant in Palm City from 11:00am-2:00pm.
