Born in Wycoff, New Jersey, Mr. Yahn had previously lived in Connecticut before relocating to the treasure coast area forty-three years ago.
He was an engineer and had worked for Pratt Whitney in Stuart for thirty years.
Mr. Yahn was a Veteran of the United States Navy, and he enjoyed fishing, photography and being outdoors.
He is survived by wife, Hazel Yahn of Palm City, Florida; son, William Yahn of Palm City, FL; son, Nicholas and his wife, Anne of Palm City, FL; and his brother, Jack Yahn of Gatesville, North Carolina.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 17, 2012 from 1:00 -2:00 PM at Aycock Funeral Home in Stuart, Florida, with a funeral service to begin at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart.
