My dearest Heath, my son, and my heart, I miss you sooo much. My first Mother's Day without you was hard, however you found a way to touch my heart today just like you always do. I have been amazed by you since the moment you were born. You are my greatest blessing! You are loved and missed by so many. Our family, friends and your fishing family have been incredibly caring and supportive. You would be proud. It warms my heart to read all their kind words. You touched many life's, and left a little piece of you with everyone you met.
You were so brave and strong, you fought a hard battle. Even though my heart is shattered, I'm thankful you're not suffering anymore. I know you're at peace now and fishing with Pawpaw at the big lake in the sky. Please, give Pawpaw a hug for me and tell him I love him. I'll see you both at the pearly gates and we'll go fishing again, once more.
I will live the rest of my life celebrating your life. You were my world, and I am so grateful that God chose me to be your Mother. Rest peacefully my angel. 😇
Mama loves you ❤💕❤

Forever will you be my best friend and my brother. 28 years of friendship that I will forever cherish. So many memories flood my mind from when we were teenagers to now. Not many can say that they have had a best friend that long, but I can. No matter how far apart we are you will forever be in my heart. Meet me at the gates I’ll be ready to go fishing I love you

Heath, Your memory will always bring a smile to my face. I wish we could sit and talk again just for a little while. The fact that you're no longer here will always cause me pain but you're forever in my heart until we meet again. I love you very much! I'm so glad I got to share the last few days of your life with you. I know I caused you some aggravation, but I just tried to make you comfortable and make you do what I said just a little while longer. We laughed, cried, fussed and fought (just a little) but through it all you kept your sense of humor until the end. You fought a good battle but now it's time to rest. I'll try to love your Momma through the pain and heartache and make you proud. I love you then and I love you now! I know you are walking hand in hand with Pawpaw taking in the beautiful sights in Heaven and finding all the good fishing holes. Please hug him one more time for me for me and tell him I love him. Take care of each other and know I love you very much Buddy!

My Dearest Heath,
My 1st born nephew that I loved as if you were my very on Son. I will miss you everyday for the rest of my life. GONE FISHIN'
I've finished life's chores assigned to me, so put me on a boat headed out to sea. Please send along my fishing pole for I've been invited to the fishin' hole.

Where every day is a day to fish,
To fill your heart with every wish.
Don't worry, or feel sad for me,
I'm fishin' with the Master of the sea.

We will miss each other for awhile, but you will come and bring your smile. That won't be long you will see, till we're together you and me.

To all of those that think of me,
Be happy as I go out to sea.
If others wonder why I'm missin'
Just tell 'em I've gone fishin'.
