Russell passed away on Tuesday, September 19th, 2023 at 86 years old. He was the devoted husband of Mary K. Chaiser for 61 years and a loving father to his 3 children, Karen, Richard, and Kenneth.
He was also an Army Veteran.
Russ was born in Chicago and loved his Chicago sports teams win or lose. His wardrobe consisted of sports apparel for the Chicago Bears, Chicago Blackhawks, Chicago Bulls, and Chicago White Sox. He also had a great love for his Alma Mater, the University of Miami Hurricanes. He loved to golf, watch golf, and buy golf clubs at his favorite Flea Market every chance he got. He loved his cat-children, Jin-gles, Tuffy, and Muffy, which he spoke to like humans and it was so funny to watch. Russ also enjoyed working in the yard and going to antique stores with his wife and one of his favorites was collecting coins.
Poppi was a thoughtful and loving husband to Mary and a kind and gentle father to his children, grand-children, and great grandchildren. He was a wonderful male role model and example of a father and grandfather. His family finds solace knowing that he has been reunited with his one true love, Mary.
Russell is survived by his children, Karen Jarrell (Harold), Richard Chaiser (Annie), and Kenneth Chaiser (Vicki). His grandchildren, Angela Chambers (Daniel), Kyle Chaiser (Angie), Erica Chaiser, Stephanie Chaiser, and Jeremy Chaiser and his great grandchildren, Eva and Kane Chaiser and Kayden and Emily Chambers. He was predeceased by his wife Mary Chaiser, his father, Frank Chaiser, mother, Esther Chaiser and brothers Gordon, Richard, and Cliff Chaiser.
