He was born in Italy to Innocenzio and Antoinette Riviello. Sal has resided on The Treasure Coast of Florida for 20 years, having moved from Long Island, New York. He was of Catholic Faith and was a parishioner St. Mary's Catholic Church in Manhasset, New York.
Sal owned and operated Professional Limousines Company in the Tri-State area for many years. He was President of the Italian American Society in New York. Sal was an avid boater and loved the New York Mets, staying up late to watch the team in the 2015 World Series. Sal had a passion of caring for others and enjoyed cooking Italian gourmet meals for his family and friends. He loved entertaining others and was known for his singing and dancing, even singing on TV dressed as Santa Claus in New York in his younger years.
Sal was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Dominic and Felix Riviello; and daughter, Annette Riviello.
Survivors include his wife, Maria Garcia Riviello of Stuart, FL; Son, James “Jim” Riviello of Long Island, New York; Daughter, Mary LoPresti and her husband Sal of Long Island, New York; and Grandchildren, Philip James and Sara Ann LoPresti of Long Island, New York.
A gathering of friends and family will take place on Friday, December 11, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm at Aycock Funeral Home Young & Prill Chapel, Stuart, Florida. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday December 12, 2015 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Stuart, Florida at 10 am. Burial will follow at The Gardens Memorial Park in Boca Raton, Florida.
